The essentials
- Count — e.g. 30s Ne (convert here)
- Fibre / blend & ratio — e.g. 100% cotton, or PC 65/35
- Spinning system — combed, carded, open-end, ring
- Single or double (TFO) — e.g. 30s single or 60s/2
- Twist — soft/normal/hard, or a TM/TPI figure if critical
Quality and finish
- Quality parameters — CSP, CV%, IPI if it matters
- Grey or dyed — and a shade/colour-card reference if dyed
- End use — the fabric and process it is for
Commercials
- Quantity — total kg, and whether repeat/programme
- Delivery — location and timeline
